United Methodist Women

Bethany's United Methodist Women meet the second Tuesday each month at 7:00 PM in the church kitchen. Their activities offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, mission education and service to others.

Typical Activities:

• Leading a hymn sing at a nearby nursing home
• Updating the church scrapbook
• Leading the church Ash Wednesday service
• Sending care packages to college students during semester exams
• Holding an annual bazaar to raise money for various missions
• Preparing and shipping school kits for children in disaster areas
• Sponsoring a Prayer Shawl Ministry group

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This group meets twice a month to pray for and knit/crochet shawls for those in need of a tangible symbol (a shawl) of God's love.
