She was born in North Berwick, Maine, on Aug. 2, 1910, the daughter of Arthur and Katie (Day) Randall. She attended school in North Berwick and had resided there until moving to Somersworth in 1929. She was a homemaker, raising 12 children. She enjoyed knitting, was an excellent cook and was an avid fan of Boston sports teams.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dona Turcotte, in 1967; a son, Donald Turcotte, in 1948; a daughter, Jeanette Bickford, in 1969; two grandsons, Shawn Turcotte and Bruce Bickford; and a great-grandson, Alex Robidas. Survivors include six sons, Richard and his wife, Shirley Turcotte of Dover; Martin and his wife, Dorothy Turcotte of Berwick, Maine; Philip and his wife, Jane Turcotte of Somersworth; Edmond and his wife, Mary Lou Turcotte of South Berwick, Maine; Roland "Pete" and his wife, Donna Turcotte of Somersworth; and Norman and his wife, Melina Turcotte of Farmington; four daughters, Anita Hjort of New Sharon, Maine; Diane
McCarthy and her husband, Jack of Santa Fe, N.M.; Priscilla and her husband, Jerry Thibodeau of Manchester; and Kay and her husband, Bruce Ricker of Barrington; 38 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Randall of Wells, Maine; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were July 1 at the Roberge Funeral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth.
Funeral services were held July 2 at the Berwick United Methodist Church with Dr. Peggy Dunn officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Somersworth.
