Steve Moulton

MILTON ; Stephen B. Moulton, 74, of Townhouse Road, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at Heart of Florida Hospital, Davenport, Fla.

Stephen was born in Berwick, Maine, on Aug. 15, 1934, and was the son of Joel C. and Louise (Whitman) Moulton II. He was raised in Berwick and was a graduate of Berwick High School. He was a member of the Berwick United Methodist Church and of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester. Mr. Moulton was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He served for 12 years in his community as a police officer, retiring from the force with the rank of sergeant. He worked several years at Prime Tanning, for the municipality of Berwick and with the U. S. Postal Service. However, his most enjoyable position held was as the school bus driver for MSAD 60 and the Milton school districts for many years. He enjoyed camping, the WWF wrestling, and spending winters in Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Maryanne Moulton, of Milton; four children, daughter, Denise Hopkins and her husband, Marc, both of Lebanon, Maine; son, Robert Moulton and his wife, Cheryl, both of Berwick, Maine; son, James Moulton and his wife, Nancy, both of North Berwick, Maine, and daughter, Diane Roy and her husband, Daniel, both of Milton. He also leaves his adopted children, Kathryn Kibat and her husband, David, of South Berwick, Maine, and Theodore Blackey of Rochester; and several grandchildren, Kevin, Kayla, Melissa, Brad, Kate, Katie, Sean, Alex, Ethan, Dustin, Dylan and Kayla Marie. He was especially looking forward to the arrival of his first great-granddaughter. Also surviving are his siblings, Joeline Lapierre of Berwick, Stanley Moulton of Berwick, Marlene Norton of North Berwick and Karen Lovely of Somersworth. Also surviving is his aunt, Pauline Guptill of North Berwick, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery, Berwick, Maine.
