From Massachusetts or Portsmouth NH area via I-95:
From Massachusetts or Portsmouth NH area: Take I-95 north, over the Piscataqua River Bridge, into Maine. Take Exit 3. The exit ramp then splits - bear right at the split to approach 236 north. Turn right at end of ramp and go over I-95.
Set trip odometer to 0 miles as you pass over I-95.
You are now on 236 north. You will remain on 236 until it ends. (It ends right at the church).
At 10.4 miles, you will pass a Cumberland Farms convenience store on your left, and come to a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign to remain on 236. Continue straight through South Berwick village.
At 11.0 miles, you will cross the railroad tracks. WARNING: active Amtrak high-speed rail crossing.
The church is at the next traffic light you encounter, at 14.2 miles.
Continue straight across the intersection. You will be on Wilson St. Turn into the first driveway on your right. There is a big parking lot behind the church, but it is not obvious from Wilson St.
From the Maine Turnpike - Wells, Kennebunk, and points north
From Maine Turnpike: Take Wells Exit 2. Reset your trip odometer to 0 as you pass through the toll booth (there is no toll collected upon exiting). Turn right at traffic light at end of ramp.
You are now on route 9+109. You will remain on 9 until you reach the church.
Turn left where 9 and 109 diverge (at 0.6 miles).
In North Berwick, turn left at the traffic signal at the Old Corner Restaurant (at 7.3 miles) to remain on 9.
Turn right at the next traffic signal at the Texaco station (at 7.7 miles) to remain on 9.
The church is on your right at the next traffic light (at 14.6 miles).
Turn right after the church onto Wilson St. Turn into the first driveway on your right. There is a big parking lot behind the church.
From Portsmouth, Dover, Somersworth, Rochester via Spaulding Turnpike:
Take Spaulding Turnpike Exit 9 (Dover). Set trip odometer to 0 miles as you leave the turnpike.
You will come into the Week's Crossing intersection. Continue straight through the intersection. Pass by Chili's restaurant on your right. You are now on High Street in Somersworth NH.
Continue on High St. Pass Burger King and Wal-Mart at 1.4 miles on your right.
At 3.7 miles, High Street becomes Market St. and makes a sharp right after downtown. Cross the railroad tracks and go over the bridge into Maine. WARNING: Active railroad crossing with extremely limited sight lines. If traffic is backed up at the traffic light, do not stop ON the railroad tracks.
Turn right immediately after the bridge, then immediately turn left onto School St/Route 9. Pass the Berwick Fire Station on your right. The church steeple is now visible at the next intersection.
At 4.0 miles, you reach the intersection with Wilson and Allen Streets. The church is on your left. Turn left onto Wilson St.
The first driveway on your right is the church driveway. Drive right in. There is a big parking lot behind the church, but it is not obvious from Wilson St.
