Outreach
Continue to save your Campbell Soup and food product
labels, General Mills Education box tops and Farm Fresh
receipts.
There will be boxes in all the adult Sunday School Class rooms
and near doors in the Family Life Center to drop them in.
These
labels and receipts will be used to help our local schools and the Red
Bird Mission.
This event provides a marvelous opportunity to be of service
while allowing us to become aware of the many blessings we enjoy that are often
taken for granted.
Please call the church office at 357-3373 for
information about how you can become involved in sharing God's love and
Christian fellowship.
Operation Christmas Child
Fill a shoe box full of simple gifts and bring joy and hope to
children in desperate situations worldwide. Here are ways you can make a
difference:
Pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoe box
gift, and that He will bring many children and families to faith in
Christ.
Pack a gift. A shoe box filled with small toys and other gifts can
open hurting hearts to God's love. Instructional brochures will be
available at our church, or you can find everything you need online. www.samaritanspurse.org/ezgive
Give. Remember to give $7 or more per box to cover shipping and
other project costs.
Volunteer. Make an eternal impact on the lives of children by using
your gifts serving alongside us. Opportunities range from short-term
service in a Processing Center to seasonal involvement as a project leader to
year-round roles on a volunteer Area Team.
