Welcome, Dear Friends
For over 120 years, Belleview United Methodist Church has been in ministry to the local community and the greater global community. The focus of our mission has been to share the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ through ministry of the Word, sacraments, and service.
The founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley, once said “The world is my parish.” Through our connectional ministry in the United Methodist Church, our congregation lives out this vision, through supporting ministry and mission throughout the world. Through helping establish and support churches, schools, clinics and the disaster relief of the UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), our local congregation helps spread the love and redeeming mission of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
As important as this global mission is, our main focus is on ministering to the community around us. We are committed to making Belleview United Methodist Church a beacon of hope and a place of refuge for those in need in our community. We offer a wide variety of outreach; from our food pantry to children’s ministries, from Bible and life skill classes to support groups. All of this is done as a way of living out the call of God in our lives as individuals and as a community aspiring to be the people that God has called us to be.
