United Methodist Women offers all women the opportunity to be in mission with a PURPOSE: The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Our unit was officially "reorganized" chartered by the Women's Division in the spring of 1996. We chose to operate under the Minimum Functions Structure with flexibility in time and number of full unit meetings per year, to meet the changing needs of today's women. Programs in unit and subgroup meetings encompass mission education, spiritual growth, and social action, with continuing focus on the needs of women, children and youth. Pledge to Mission is our only source of funding.
