Missions

Through the Church Resource Service Council and Interfaith , Bethel and Emmanuel are involved in various outreach projects in the community of the Northern Neck.

Both churches are actively involved in Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, The Mattaponi Health Clinic, The Free Health Clinic of Lancaster County, and The Heart Haven Home in Kilmarnock.  Both Churches are also blessed in their Local Outreach by support of the Jesse Ball Dupont Foundation.

Both the United Methodist Men and The United Methodist Women are very active in support of missions locally and globally.

An annual Missions Festival is held to inform and involve the congregation as a whole.

The Congregation is currently involved in raising funds for Nothing But Nets to provide mosquito nets for children.
