A Great Combination of Professional Staff and Lay Leadership make Bethel-Emmanuel a great and loving presence in Lancaster County.

Pastor Bob Jones, arrived in 2004.  He has served in various settings, beginning with some very rural appointments.  Later he served as an Associate at Front Royal Church before moving over to the Hampton Roads area, and finally making his way up to discover the Northern Neck and Bethel-Emmanuel.  He loves to lead everyone to discover and use those gifts that God has already given them.  Aside from being a very lively preacher, he is a wonderful teacher, short-story writer, organizer, and just everybody's friend. 

Paula Reynolds, Administrative Assistant, has been in the office for over 12 years and in Lancaster County all her life.  Some people call her Google, cause she is like a living search engine and knows where everything is.  She also plays the organ at Corrotoman Baptist Church and stays busy serving as secretary at her husband's auto service center.

Joe Hecht, Lay Leader (Emmanuel).

A native of Maine, Joe has been a big part of life at Emmanuel of many years as well as the local Volunteer Fire Department.

Wallace "Hack" Dean, Lay Leader (Bethel).

A retired Firefighter from Northern Virginia also serves the Disaster Committee.  His wife Lore heads the Faith and Health Ministries for Bethel-Emmanuel.

Margaret Forrester, Director of Music (Bethel).  Teaching music in school for years has given Margaret the ability to teach anybody to sing.  She leads the Bethel choir through some very complicated pieces during worship.

Lorraine Dixon, Director of Music (Emmanuel).

Lorraine teaches, leads and plays - a total package.  She has been at Emmanuel for a number of years yet is always working to increase the churches repertoire.

Susan Jett, Bethel Pre-school Director.   Susan is a high energy person that has managed the Pre-school and in the pursuit of excellence, made it re-known on the Northern Neck.
