This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.

The web site is entirely new as of August, 2008. The pastor is looking for someone to take it over or at least contribute fresh material on a regular basis. The web is a great way to spread the Good News!

Recent Happenings in Beach United Methodist Church

NEW PASTOR ARRIVED July 6.  Bishop Jeremiah J. Park appointed The Rev. Jack K. King to be the pastor of Westhampton Beach United Methodist Church.  Pastor King, recently retired after 47 years in the ministry, will be serving the church half-time.  His wife, Joyce, is an occupational therapist at Eastern Suffolk BOCES.  Both are excited to be at Beach UMC.

LUNCH ON THE RUN was held in conjunction with the Art Show on August 2 & 3.  Two teams of volunteers worked shifts from 5 am to 5 pm, breakfast and lunch.  The early show was headed up by Pete and Sharon Abrams and the afternoon team was coordinated by Bob and Nancy Knotoff.  The profits may have been slim, but the food and hospitality was tremendous.  Thanks to all the willing workers.  Great job!   Check out the pictures
