Our Purpose:  Welcome to the Battle Mountain United Methodist Church.  We are a small church with a loving and caring church family fellowship, where people come to know their gifts and to use them in service to God.  In our church people freely acknowledge Jesus as Lord of their lives, increase in faith, and share this faith with others.

As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, we intend to be a church that C.A.R.E.S. for others by:

Fellowship Activities:

• United Methodist Men Breakfast - Saturday 8:00 a.m.
  The United Methodist Men gather for this breakfast at the Nevada Hotel located on the corner of Front Street and Broad (State Highway 305).  All men of all church faiths as well as ladies and children are welcome to come and join us for this time of fellowship.

• Long Term Care Fellowship Service - 3rd Sunday of every month, 4:00 p.m.
  Come join this loving service to help those in the local long term care facility praise and worship God and Jesus.  The service is held every Sunday with different church fellowships being worship leaders.  Our Methodist fellowship has taken the oportunity of bringing the love of God and leading the service on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays every month.  The service is 45 minutes long filled with singing your favorite songs of praise with a short devotional message given.

Our Stained Glass Windows:
Being a small church we could not afford to purchase stained glass windows.  To resolve this situation we chose to construct our own stained glass windows.  We are very proud of these windows, and we hope that you will take time to view them.

Camping:
The California-Nevada Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church to which the Battle Mountain United Methodist Church is a member owns and operates four campgrounds.  About 90 miles southeast of Battle Mountain is Camp Kelly.  Take time and visit Camp Kelly.
