Our Purpose: Welcome to the Battle
Mountain United Methodist Church. We are a small church with a loving and
caring church family fellowship, where people come to know their gifts and to
use them in service to God. In our church people freely acknowledge Jesus
as Lord of their lives, increase in faith, and share this faith with others.
As a dynamic church proclaiming the Word of God, we intend to be a church that

Fellowship Activities:
Our Stained
Glass Windows:
Being a small church we could not afford to purchase stained
glass windows. To resolve this situation we chose to construct our own stained
glass windows. We are very proud of these windows, and we hope that you
will take time to view them.
Camping:
The California-Nevada Annual Conference of the United Methodist
Church to which the Battle Mountain United Methodist Church is a member owns
and operates four campgrounds. About 90 miles southeast of Battle Mountain
is Camp Kelly. Take time and visit Camp Kelly.
THE PRAYER OF JOHN WESLEY
I am no longer my own but yours.
Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will; Put me to doing, put me
to suffering;
Let me be employed for you or laid aside for you, Exalted for you or brought
low for you;
Let me be full, let me be empty,
Let me have all things, let me have nothing;
I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things to your pleasure and disposal.
And now, glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, you are mine
and I am yours. So be it.
