Bible Studies

  • Tuesdays at 10:15am
  • Thursdays at 7:30pm

Adult Discussion Group

An adult discussion group meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30am in the library off the narthex. Books that are discussed are chosen by the group and cover a wide range of topics of Christian interest. Recent topics have included Biblical interpretation, early church history, and devotional material. The pace of study is determined by the group. Email us for the current book under discussion.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir is made up of dedicated singers who meet weekly with Bryan Bishop, Director of Music, to rehearse an eclectic mix of music for the weekly worship service. Choir practice is on Wednesday nights from 7:30-9:00pm.

Women's Book Group

The Women's Book Group meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm to discuss a variety of books in an environment of sharing and support. The discussion is always interesting and lively. We vary the location of our meetings from our homes to Panera or Bertucci's. We've read many great books including: If God is Love, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Eat Love Pray, The Cup of Our Life, My Grandfather's Blessings, Embrace Grace, Grace Eventually : Thoughts on Faith.

United Methodist Women (UMW)

UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Women's Guild

The Guild is a group of women who meet and work together to provide support to our church and the community by donating time, talent and money. Each year the Guild participates in several community-related activites including: filling Christmas gift requests for residents of Tewksbury Hospital, making blankets for Project Linus, and supporting Lazarus House. We do fundraising for the church through bake sales and social auctions.

Men's Fellowship

This group invites all men - members and friends - to join in on the activities, which run from September to June. We have several cookouts each year, attend Spinners games, and participate in breakfast workshops. The workshop topics have included computers, insurance, estate planning, and identity theft. We continue to provide Christian Fellowship among men and support for our church.
