Norma's Cocktail Meatballs
~ Norma Cahill ~

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup minced onion
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • One 12-ounce bottle chili sauce
  • One 10-ounce jar grape jelly

Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, minced onion, minced garlic, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; form into 1-inch balls. In a non-stick skillet, brown the meatballs in a little canola or vegetable oil. Don't crowd the meatballs. In a dutch oven or a fairly large saucepan, melt together the chili sauce and grape jelly; add meatballs. Simmer for 30 -45 minutes. Make about 5 dozen.

Nicaragua 2011

  • We will be collecting ibuprofen, toothbrushes, and crayons for Nicaragua for the next couple of months!
  • Please bring your stray coins that you may have sitting around in jars or bowls. There is a large bottle at the back of the sanctuary where you may deposit those coins. They will be used to finance the 2011 mission trip to Nicaragua.

Neighbors in Need

  • Plastic grocery bags needed for Neighbors in Need. Leave in box in narthex.
