Methodist Ministers1849 – Rev Stephen G. Hiler held services in the Old Boston and Maine depot. These services lasted six months. 1850 – The original charter established the Methodist Episcopal Church on February 21, 1850 with Rev. John Noon preaching the first sermon. Rev. S. S. Cooke and Stephen G. Hiler alternated until the church was accepted by the New England Conference. – Rev. Bailey became the first regular stationed minister but left in October. – Rev. John P. Foote, a student at the theological school then located in Concord, N.H. was secured to supply the pulpit. 1851 – Rev. Oliver A. Howe was sent by the Conference and under his leadership a church was built. The Zion's Herald stated: "Ballardvale has the only Methodist church around for about 200 square miles. It has 40 members and has been organized only two years, thus the increase has been from seven to fourty." 1852 – Rev. Phinney Wood 1853 – Rev. M. Norris. At this time the membership was the smallest, consisting of ten members 1854-55 – William F. Warren, who became president of Boston University some years after. 1856 – Joseph Scott and John H. Mansfield. 1857 – Rev. A. O. Hamilton 1858 – L. CV. McKinster and William Harrison 1859 – E. B. Atherman 1860 – John N. Moss 1861-63 – Rev. George Ellis 1864 – William G. LaCount 1865-67 – Rev. J. S. Day. 1867-68 – Rev. H. S. Westan 1869-70 – Rev. John W. Short 1871 – Rev. A. M. Osgood 1872 – Rev. G. C. Osgood 1873 – Rev. W. J. Parkinson 1874 – Rev. E. H. Leserman. He was to attend a revival service in Bradlee hall and was killed by a train at the Andover Street crossing. 1875-76 – G. W. Brezell. The membership was the largest until 1896. 1877 – Rev. William Wignall 1870-80 – Rev. Walter Wilkie 1881 – Rev. A. F. Hoyt 1882 – Rev. R. W. Barlow 1883-85-88 – Rev. J. A. Day, who was minister then the parsonage was built. 1886-88 – Rev. N. H. Martin 1889 – Rev. Edward E. Small 1891 – Rev. W. F. Stewart 1892 – Rev. W. F. Fuller 1893-95 – Rev. T. A. Hodgdon of Malden 1896-97 – Rev. V. E. Hills of the East Maine Conference 1897-99 – Rev. LeVerne Roberts. He died in the big Iroquois theater fire in Chicago. 1898-1900 – Rev. Thomas Livingston 1900-Oct. – L. G. March 1900-01 – Rev. William Atkins 1901-02 – Rev. C. K. Hudson 1902-03 – Rev. H. S. Cromton 1904 – Rev. F. H. Hall 1905-07 – Rev. William Ferguson 1907-09 – Rev. Alvin E. Worman 1909-10 – Rev. Elwin D. Lane, who afterwards became a prominent doctor in Andover 1910-11 – Rev. William S. Handy. While here the gospel team from Boston University School of Theology held revival services and the church was filled to capacity. 1911-12 – Rev. Conart John Mekkelson 1912-14 – Rev. Perry S. Neldon 1914-15 – Rev. James King, who was afterwards a pastor of the Lowell Congregational church and a professor at Harvard. He spoke at the 90th anniversary of this church. 1915-16 – Ralph Scott, who afterwards went into Y.M.C.A. work in South America. 1916-18 – Rev. Frank A. Everett. 1918-20 – Rev. J. P. Cordero 1921 – Rev. C. E. Wintringham 1922-23 – Rev. C. M. Schaub. He was afterwards manager of a Goodwill Industries program in Des Moines, Iowa 1923-24 Rev. Thomas Adams 1924-25 Rev. Clifford Reynolds. He instigated the 75th anniversary of this church. 1926-27 – Rev. J. R. Wonder 1928-30 – Rev. Elwyn H. Scheyer 1931-33 – Rev. Everett R. Barrows 1934 - 35 — Rev Elwyn Ewing 1936-37 – Rev. Carl L. Craine 1938-40 – Rev. Wilbert W. Marzahn. He instigated the 90th anniversary of the church 1941-1942 – Rev. Carl W. Wilson 1943-1948 and part of 49 – Rev. William Crawford 1949-1950 – Rev. Earl D. Haywood 1950-51 — Rev.Allen F. Kerns 1951-53 — Rev. Robert McCune 1953-55 — Rev. Anthony Perrino 1955 - When the Congregational and Methodist Churches united in 1955 they agreed that all future ministers will be from the Methodist Conference. Rev. Anthony Perino, preached until the Methodist Conference appointed Rev. Ralph Rosenblad as the first full-time minister of the merged church. 1955-1960 — Rev. Ralph Rosenblad 1960-1961 — Rev.
