Committees & Boards

The need for leadership at Baldwin Memorial is varied and many. The following Boards and Committees offer many fulfilling opportunties to serve.

Administrative Council
Lead the congregation in long-range planning and in carrying out its program

Committee on Missions
Involve the congregation in spreading the gospel through witness and service throughout the world

Committee on Nurture Outreach and Witness
Ensure that the congregation reaches out to people with the good news of Jesus Christ
Help people understand the meaning of Christian Stewardship and the need to practice it in all of life

Committee on Worship and Music
Work with the pastor and leader(s) of music in planning worship

Committee on History
Help the congregation document its historical identity by keeping records in an orderly fashion so that it may perserve and build on its heritage

Committee on Education
Coordinate the planning and implementation of a comprehensive Christian education ministry for your congregation and community

Committee on Staff-Parish Relations
Support the pastor and other staff so that these people can work effectively in managing the ministry of the congregation for witness and service

Committee on Finance
Propose, raise, manage, and distribute the resources of the congregation to support the mission and ministry of the congregation

Committee on Nominations and Personnel
Ensure that the congregation has a process for discovering, inviting, nominating, and supporting people for leadership positions essential to the ministries of nurture and outreach in the community
