As part of United Methodist Women’s collaboration with Church World Service on the Countdown to Copenhagen (C2C) campaign, AWF UMW Mission Team will be participating in an international day of climate action on October 24th, United Nations Day. With the slogan of " Just Cap It!", people around the world are being asked to wear hats and caps of all sorts that day to show support for the US setting the bar high on greenhouse gas emissions which contribute to climate change. We encourage district and local United Methodist Women's participation in this call to action.
