devastate over 100,000 children and their families a year. A SPARK OF HOPE, has
recently been established by Michael Sparkman’s and Hope Fimiani’s families to
provide financial and emotional support to children diagnosed and their
families, many of whom are unable to adequately pay for the most appropriate and
cutting-edge care. Please consider joining forces with us in our fight. For more

Help Needed
The Hospitality Committee is responsible
for providing luncheons following the funeral services conducted in our church.
Individuals are needed who can either cook for or help serve the meal. This act
of kindness is a wonderful outreach to our church family. If you are able to
help occasionally please contact Becky Dougan at 366.5031.

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational food program dedicated to providing food assistance to families throughout the United States. Angel Food was started in 1994 by Pastor Joe Wingo and his family with the original intent of helping out their neighbors in a small rural community in Northeast Georgia where many textile mills closed. Today, Angel Food has expanded into 35 states and helps close to 500,000 people. To make this a vital program in our church all you need to do is participate, or call Philomena Bagger 934-0234 or email her at rbagger@roadrunner.com for answers to your questions and for further information. There are no application or pre-qualifiers to participate in the Angel Food program and participating is easy. Every month Angel Food creates a wonderful menu of both fresh and frozen food items at a cost of $30 for one box of food that will feed a family of four for about a week and a single person for close to a month. There is no limit on the number of boxes an individual or family can purchase. The food will be picked up at a host site and brought to our church for pick up by you.
