As a part of our outreach to the community, Calvary church members and friends of all ages pull together three to four times a year to pick up trash and debris from the area surrounding the roadway.  The members of Calvary are proud of our community and it gives us great satisfaction to help keep Avilla beautiful. As part of its effort to be responsible with the creation God has given to us, Calvary has adopted the 2 mile stretch of State Road 3 beginning at the intersection of State Road 8 and new 3.  This stretch of road extends two miles south to county road 200 N. 

Serving more than 150 people a month, the Food Pantry provides relief to those who have a difficulty making it from week to week.  Families needing assistance are allowed one visit per month to the pantry and assistance is given based on specifications by local food pantry guidelines.  Patrons of
the food pantry must reside in the Noble County area. 

Mary Kemerly and a group of more than 12 volunteers help organize the donated food, purchase needed food supplies and help those who come for assistance. 

Food Pantry hours are: Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
