Scouting

Cub Scouts
Sponsored by the church, Cub Scout Pack 48 has several dens which meet on Monday evenings. For information please contact the church office at (417) 678-3359.

Thanks to the dedicated leadership of many volunteer leaders, Cub Scout Pack 48 continues to offer a quality program to the boys in grades 1-5.

The Pack Members of the Pack have participated in the annual Scouting for Food drive in the Aurora community for approximately 14 years. The event is a joint effort between the Cub Pack and the Boy Scout Troop.

The popcorn sale, which is the major fund-raiser for the Pack, is held each fall. Funds from this sale fund the purchase of supplies and awards, while a portion is placed into the Cub Scout's account for camping, uniforms, etc.

Boy Scouts
Sponsored by the church since 1944, Boy Scout Troop 48 meets on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Girl Scouts
Although the church does not sponsor the Girl Scout Troops, many of our young ladies are scouts and frequently meet for special activities, as well as their regular meetings.
