OCTOBER 2009 ACTIVITIES AT ALBRIGHT UMCHURCH

The Albright United Methodist Church's United Methodist Women held their annual Salad Luncheon and Bake Sale fundraiser on Friday, October 9, 2009 in our Fellowship Hall. |

Alberta Depew, Donna Evans, Pat Purkey, Opal Brown, Millie Hibbert and Deloris Robinson helped set up the Bake Sale this year. Lois Kleinmann and Russell Allen received $6 for adults and $2 for children for the Salad luncheon. After being given a serving of Hot Chicken Salad, those attending could also choose from a large buffet of salads and other items. . |

Don Appleman served water, tea and coffee. We had a nice turnout of folks from Albright as well as from the Ponca City area. |

| Millie Hibbert and Opal Brown served at the cashiers table for the Bake sale items. There were silent auctions on three pumpkins that were carved by Jim Daniel. The highest bidder by 11:30AM, Noon and 12:30PM got the pumpkins. We Praise the Lord for the nice Salad Luncheon and Bake Sale and for all the women and men who came out, provided food, helped serve it, made purchases and enjoyed eating.. The United Methodist Women use the proceeds for their mission projects around the world. |
