Men's Morning Devotional
Fellowship - a time of
morning devotion on Friday mornings starting Friday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 a.m.
This will be an open time for you to come whenever you can. If you are
interested and have some input into the kind of opportunity that would be
most beneficial to you, contact me. We can have coffee, juice and rolls at
the church, or in someone’s home, or find a corner in a local
restaurant. As we head into the holiday seasons, we will find our lives
richly blessed and can make the special days more meaningful because of
our reflection and study.
Adult Sunday Morning Class -
On
Sunday, April 13th, the adult Sunday school class will start a new video
series entitled, Walking the Bible: Both a heart-racing adventure
and an uplifting quest, Walking the Bible presents one man's epic journey,
but foot, jeep, rowboat, and camel, through the greatest stories ever
told. From crossing the Red Sea to climbing Mount Sinai to touching
the burning bush, best-selling author Bruce Feiler's inspiring odyssey
will forever change your view of history's most legendary events.
This was a full length feature on PBS a couple years ago. Come
when you can.
Ladies'
Bible Study with the Pastor - Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 10:00 am.
Men's
Morning Devotional - Friday mornings at 6:30 am. This is a men's group
that centers discussion around "The Upper Room
Disciplines". Come when you can.
Ladies'
Brown Bag Book Study - Currently studying "Self Talk, Soul Talk (What
to Say When You Talk to Yourself)" by Jennifer Rothschild. Bring your
lunch and join the discussion when you can.
Caring
Prayer
& Share—all are welcome. Prayer and Share group. They meet in room 203
every Tuesday at 9:30 am.
Prayer
Shawl Group - meets most Mondays at 10:00 am. They meet to knit or crochet
Prayer Shawls. Prayer Shawls are then given to those who may need to be
surrounded by God's presence and love. Please contact the church office if
interested.
Body
& Soul
Fitness
Group—meets Monday through Friday at 7:30 am. and Monday's, Tuesday's
and Thursday's at 6:30 pm. We use hand held weights, mats and exercise
balls. We like
variety so bring your exercise videos in either VHS or DVD format and join us.
