THE MISSION DEPOT

     The Mission Depot is a facility for the collection and storage of new and used building materials. The depot also has an area for storing tools which can be used by groups working on homes and other mission projects.

  We Have A Mission! 

     In our own communities there are people who cannot find in their budgets the extra dollars to repair leaky roofs, replace failing ceilings, repair broken bath fixtures, replace rotten floors or simply buy paint.

     Although these people have pride in their homes, in most cases they will live out their lives watching their homes, in which memories have been made, fall apart due to lack of extra money to make these much needed repairs.

     We believe there is more to belonging to a church than just worshipping on Sunday. To be a Christian is to reach out to all people in need. Be it a smile, a hug, listening to problems, helping them with repairs, providing clothes and food or just being there for their families when they cannot be. The act of helping others is one of the ways we can fulfill God's command to "Go ye into all the world and preach my gospel to every creature."

  What Will The Depot Provide? 

     The interest of out-of-state church groups to come to West Virginia to help repair homes for those in need is growing at a tremendous rate.

     The Mission Depot is a base from which all groups can draw on supplies and tools for this work. The depot is also a place where donated items can be stored.

  Will You Help Us Achieve This Goal? 

    Through the generosity of caring people our Mission Depot has been built.  The construction was done by non-paid volunteers, but other donations to help with the stocking and maintenance of the Depot will be greatly appreciated.

ALL MONEY RECEIVED WILL GO TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF NEEDED MATERIALS!
