Purpose

This Committee shall enable justice and mercy ministries that reach out to the community, and shall also engage in risk-taking service and mission.

Objectives

• To encourage members to become involved in service ministries.
• To transform those on the receiving end of the ministries into viable assets with the church and community.
• To enlarge our territory by ministering to three to four times the number of people who make up the average weekly worship attendance through partnerships with community stakeholders and establishing nonprofit community-based programs designed to improve upon the needs of others.
• To promote opportunities for generous giving and to utilize additional funding resources to support missional outreach.
• To strive for holistic/inclusive development and transformation of the community by addressing the spiritual, economical, social and political issues in the community context where the church serves.
