“Awe came upon everyone, because many wonder and signs were being done by the apostles” – Acts 2:43.
“Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread from house to house and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people” – Acts 2:46-47a.

Purpose

Worship is under the authority of the Pastor. This Committee exists to assist the Pastor toward the accomplishment of an inspirational worship experience.

This Committee shall focus on creating a sense of glad and passionate worship that praises and magnifies God’s presence through the joy of the Holy Spirit.

Objectives

  • To provide for a growing sense of the unity of the Spirit within the congregation through prayer and other means of fellowship.
  • To ensure that the worship experience is dynamic, spirit-filled and gratifying.
  • To ensure that the worship experience observes the Christian Calendar.
  • To grow by 3-5% each year in the average worship attendance.
  • To increase emphasis on non-traditional worship services (i.e. midweek prayer, etc.)
