Why Sunday School?

Aside from the obvious answer to this question, Sunday School also provides a much needed resource for today’s parents. Our children are constantly being bombarded with all sorts of negative and confusing messages whether it be through the media, peer pressure or the simple observations of the world around them. It is a difficult challenge for parents to maintain some sort of balance as they try and provide enough positive experiences to counterbalance all of the negatives surrounding them. This is where the Sunday School can provide a child with a friendly, caring and safe environment where children are exposed to the positive world of the Bible. Where children feel good about themselves as they learn to love and care for others through the teachings of Jesus.
