Our pastor is Rev. Dianna Rees. She was appointed to serve as pastor of the Armada United Methodist Church and the West Berlin United Methodist Church beginning July 1, 2003 by Bishop Linda Lee, Episcopal leader of the Michigan area. Pastor Rees' leadership, spiritual gifts, and preaching skills have been a blessing to both of our congregations.

Pastor Rees’ home church is Immanuel United Methodist Church in Eastpointe. She was commissioned as a probationary member for the elder’s order at the Detroit Annual Conference on May 19th, 2003. That same week, she graduated from Methodist Theological School in Ohio, located in Delaware, Ohio. Pastor Rees has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education in addition to a Master of Divinity. Pastor Rees resides in Armada with her husband John and two children, Melissa and John. Pastor Rees and Mr. Rees have three grown children as well, Rick, Michelle and Vicki.
