The Armada United Methodist Church is blessed with many musical gifts!

Our 9:30 a.m. Sunday Service music provides a rich musical backdrop for worship. The musical selections are traditional, but not stodgy. Often, hymns during the service are accompanied by 3 keyboard musicians, playing the Clavinova electronic keyboard, piano, and organ, weaving a beautiful tapestry of praise through song. We also have members who lend their talents with other instruments, such as guitar, trumpet, flute, banjo, mandolin and dobro. Our Music Director, Marjorie Reinas, directs our small but mighty choir, and we have a really great time singing together. If you like to sing, we'd love to have you join in our music ministry! Once every month, on the last Sunday of the month at 7:00 p.m., we offer our Praise Jam, a fun community praise music jam session. We invite you to come and sing along, to bring your own instruments and play along with the band, dance in the aisles, or just to sit and listen. The music is at times lively and rocking, at times poignant and moving, always exciting. Led by our own church praise band, Thirty Three, it is 45 minutes of singing, praying, growing and healing, in a casual environment. Shout to the Lord!

Our choir members also participate in the Armada Community Choir events. The Community Choir gives a concert each year at Christmastime and provides music for the yearly joint Good Friday service done by the Armada Methodist Church and the Congregational United Church of Christ. In addition, the choir performs at the Armada Fair and other community events. What a fun bunch of folks - we have a great time together. There's always room for more!
