About Antioch

      Antioch United Methodist Church is located on Antioch Road in the Paris Landing area of Kentucky Lake. Nestled in the trees, the small white church has stood for over a hundred years. The steepled church with beautiful stained glass windows appears to stand as a sentinel for the small cemetary, also named "Antioch", that adjoins the church yard.



      Antioch is known as the "warm and loving" church. Members and guests alike are greeted at the door with handshakes and hugs.

      Most of our members are retired people who have chosen this beautiful lake area to live. On summer Sundays our congregation grows, because people on vacation or fishing trips quickly find that we welcome them to come in blue jeans and shorts.

      Antioch, a church with a warm heart. Yes, indeed! A church that believes every person who enters our doors is a very special "child of GOD" and is worthy of our love and attention.
