The Future of the Methodist Church in Michigan

The Michigan Area Transition Team (MATT) is responsible for developing plans
for the proposed merger between the Detroit Area Conference and the West Michigan Conference.
The MATT team will present a model for the new unified Conference in its Fall Listening Tour.

You owe it to yourself and your church to be informed on this issue.

The final vote of affirmation to create the new annual conference will take place on
Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Lansing Center in a joint session of both annual
conferences.
