The Anita United Methodist Church has been in this community since 1870 when Rev. Abraham led the very first religious service held in this community.

     The first church building was erected in 1876 and since then two church buildings have been built as the congregation outgrew the facilities.

     Our Church has been a vital part of this community we love, for over 120 years. Our members are actively involved in community, governmental, and educational affairs, serving in all capacities. We have been instrumental in the success and prosperity of Anita and we are committed to its continued future.
