Construction of new churches meets the needs of growing congregations in Luanda, the capital city. Girls in training program sponsored by United Methodist Women. Only four machines for 25 girls. 
   
Learning new skills at the computer. Young people prepare for the work place in the city. Bishop Warner Brown meets with students in the Pastor's Training Program as leaders prepare for a growing church.
   
Girls from various regions of western Angola stay in dormitory in order to learn new skills. All the girls meet with Bishop Brown during visit in October of 2002.
   

The church is vital for displaced persons as they gather in temporary shelter serving as a worship center.

New farm in the West Angola Conference needs pumps with greater capacity for irrigation.

   
New hydraform machine uses native materials and little cement to create building blocks use in construction of new facilities. Stacked blocks used in the building of dormitory at the "Hope for the Children in Africa" project in West Angola Conference.
   
After the civil war many churches destroyed and need to be rebuilt. Donations from Rocky Mountain Conference helped repair the orphanage in Malanje, a project in the East Conference.
   

Dr. Laurinda Quipungo has opened the Kessua Hospital as a clinic in Malanje. Examination of child with mother provides important ministry of healing. Major repairs need for Central Church destroyed during the civil strife in East Conference.
   

Kessua Hospital/Clinic has very limited medications to treat growing crowds who come for treatment. Dr. Laurinda and Bishop Jose Quipungo meet with nurses in front of reopened Kessua Hospital in administration building of East Angola Conference.
   
Kitchen in dormitory for orphans now has a roof and new stove, thanks to contributions received from Rocky Mountain Conference. New beds for boys in dormitory in orphanage need mattresses.
