Continuing Adult Groups that Gather for Study and Nurture

 
bulletLectionary Bible Study Group. Men and Women of the church gather at Donivan's Cafe on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM.
bulletSunday School for Adults meets at the back of the Worship Center at 9:45 AM, whenever Sunday School is in session.

bulletCompanions in Christ, is engaged in a 9 week series The Way of Grace in Epiphany and Lent 2008.

 
Groups that Gather for Christian Service
 
bulletQuilters get together each Tuesday morning at about 10:00 to work on sturdy quilts for Intermountain Children's Home and others. Then others join them for a pitch-in lunch at noon.
bulletUnited Methodist Women meet at 1:00 PM monthly on the second Tuesday from September - May. They organize and do several fun & fund-raisers through the year to support various needs of the church and community.
bulletThe Board of Trustees meet only as much as absolutely necessary, while taking the lead to see that the physical property of the church is maintained.
bulletThe Church Council has become a quarterly meeting of the congregation. We generally schedule these meeting with a pot luck lunch on the third Sunday of January, April, July, and October. This is when groups of the church share their activities and vision and decisions get made.
bulletLunch Bunch volunteers assist each time it is our church's turn to provide a nutritious lunch along with some Soul Food for Anaconda high school students on Wednesdays at First Presbyterian Church.  While some of our members come from school to eat lunch and get their soul food, others cook, clean up, or lead the devotion and prayer time. This is a five church ecumenical project.
bulletVolunteers in Mission. A few of us joined with some folks from Rocky Mountain Conference for a mission trip in April 2007 to the Gulfport area of southern Mississippi. In the summer of 2008 we are trying to get a group together to spend a week in the Heart Butte, Montana area. We are still not sure this can happen this year, so keep our VIMs in your prayers.
