Men's and Women's Walks are held between January and October. The walks begin on Thursday evening and close on Sunday evening. The two summer walks at TWU are exceptions. They begin on Wednesday evening and conclude on Saturday Evening.

Gatherings for AMC are held on the fourth Friday of every month, except for November and December. Remember to mark these dates and Walk services on your calendar.

We are trying something new! Beginning in January, each Gathering will involve two churches. Through the year, the Location Church will rotate between Richland Hills UMC, FUMC Arlington, and FUMC Mansfield. The Sponsor Church will be a different church each Gathering and that church will be responsible for the Spiritual Leader, 4th Day speaker, and Servant Teams. The hope is by reducing the number of locations and involving , in most cases, two churches attendance will escalate. A big part of the Emmaus experience is community. If you do not feel a part of the Emmaus Community attending a Gathering could help change that.

Steering Committee Meetings are held the second Sunday of odd months at Epworth United Methodist Church 1400 South Cooper Street, Arlington, TX 76013 at 2.P.M. Scheduled dates for 2008 are: January 18, March 8, May 10, July 12, September 13, and November 8. Representatives from all community churches are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Reunion Groups have a way of "Keeping the Fire Alive and Your Nose to the Grindstone". The newest member of my group made this comment on her first visit " I love the feeling, the emotion, the conviction I found on my walk and I don't want to loose it!" Another member commented on her first visit, "It has been months since my walk and I feel I have lost some of what I found on my walk and I want it back!". Does either statement sound familiar?
