Algiers UMC Library and Book Store Our library is a growing ministry with over 500 books and videotapes. Most of these are not available in public libraries or bookstores. The emphasis is on excellent Christian literature for all ages, and our goal is to enlarge the selection of books for younger readers. Stop by the library on Sunday and check out a book. We also have a nice selection of Christian Books that may be purchased.
Bible Study The study of the Scriptures is an important way to learn more about God and His love for all people. It is also one of the ways we mature in our faith. At Algiers UMC we offer various Bible study opportunities to meet different needs. From an introductory study that takes a person through each book of the Bible, to topical studies that reveal the Bible's answers to living successful lives in today's world, we offer a study to meet your personal needs. For information about current studies, please e-mail us at algiersm@bellsouth.net or call the church office at 361-1334.
