HOLY WEEK SERVICES
 
4/13 - MAUNDY THURSDAY - We will share a meal together at 6 p.m., followed by a symbolic Seder Service with Communion.
 
4/14 - GOOD FRIDAY - Community service at First Baptist Church at 12:30 p.m.
 
4/15 - ALEXANDRIA MENS PRAYER BREAKFAST will take place Saturday, April 15 at the Church of the Nazarene on South Harrison Street. Breakfast is served 7:30-8:30 am. Worship time is 8:45-10:00 a.m. Keynote speaker is Bill Gaither. Worship leader is Woody Wright. How can you pass up a real deal like that for only $5.00? See Ray Kendal for your tickets. Limited seating to 300  no tickets sold at the door. No tickets sold after March 31st.
 
4/16 - EASTER - Breakfast served by the Men's Group from 8 - 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. FreeWill donations accepted.
 
At 10:30 a.m. we will have Easter Worship Service with the choir and BrassWind Ensemble presenting the cantata "Risen this Day," by Benjamin Harlan, under the direction of Bogdan Minut. Come and join us as we celebrate the Risen Lord! HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
 
WOMEN OF GRACE RETREAT IS COMING! Women of Alexandria get ready for another wonderful retreat coming April 22 here at Alexandria First United Methodist. Come for lunch, music, and wonderful insight by keynote speaker Lori Borgman. Lori is an author and popular humorous speaker. She is a family life columnist whose column is distributed throughout the United States and Canada. Our theme is All Stressed Up and No Place to Go.  Cost for the retreat is $15.00 which includes lunch. Registration deadline is April 16th. You may turn your money and registration into the church office or give it to Erlene Burdsall.
