Welcome to the Alexandria District, which spans 10 parishes, radiating out from Alexandria-Pineville in the heart of “CenLa” to the edge of Toledo Bend near the Texas line, across the northernmost reaches of the Kisatchie National Forest, through the delta lands that border Mississippi, and into the upper regions of the Acadian parishes.  The rivers and roads that run through these diverse lands and peoples are not the only ways we are linked; our Wesleyan heritage as Methodist followers of Christ has woven together a vital and vibrant connection where we find strength and purpose.  In a rich variety of settings and circumstances, we are living out and finding life in our common ministry – “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
