THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY FAIR - will be held the week of
August 4 - 10 and Aldersgate will be there with a bigger
and better booth to attract people's attention to our church and to
worshipping and serving with us. Our Fair Committee, chaired by Brian
Grimes, is gearing up for a great week at the Fair. One of our major needs is for
people to sign up to be at our booth during the week. There will be a signup sheet
in the reception room so that many of us can volunteer at least one two-hour
time slot during this important effort of our church.

HANDBELLS BEGINNER CLASS OR REFRESHER CLASS - We are trying to set up
a beginner class or refresher class for anyone who may be interested in playing the handbells.
It is helpful to know a little bit about music, but not absolutely necessary. If you can count,
and swing your arms you are just about ready to ring. If you just want to give it a try first,
I and some of the choir members can show you the basics. A time will be set up later this summer
for those who are interested. This is not just for adults - I know that some of our young people
have had the opportunity to play bells in school. It would be nice to have both a youth and
an adult choir. If you are interested, you can leave your name with the church secretary
(732 254 7361) or with me. Thank you.
