A MUSICAL INVITATION TO OUR YOUTH - I am interested in forming and developing a choir
for you. This would be a new venture and we would learn and perform music for the Church. My hope would
be to sing both with instruments and a capella - and those in chorus or choir in school know what that
means! This would not be a contemporary choir, but a classic chorus, performing some of the finest literature
of the Church. We would use alternative instruments like Jembe Drums and other types of percussion. Many of you
play instuments that would enhance this ensemble.
Think about it, and let me know what you think.; You can see me at Church. Just find me on a Sunday and we'll
talk about the possiblities and when we might meet to rehearse. I think this could be exciting for you and for
Aldersgate.
Richard Biernacki, BSG
Director of Music, and Organist

ALDERSGATE GROCERY BAGS FOR SALE - These cloth grocery bags are a great alternative to
the plastic bags that are presently being used in stores and thrown into landfills. Our logos
are printed on either side of these new bags, providing a wonderful advertisement for Aldersgate and
Gateway School by letting the community know we truly care about our environment. The bags may
be purchased through the church office for $5.00 apiece or 5 bags for $20.00. Proceeds from
the sales of the bags are being used for marketing and introductory materials being distributed at the
Middlesex County Fair and other venues.

15/5 Club - (Weed 15 Minutes a Month for 5 Months) Commit your works to the Lord and
your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3 Many thanks to those who answered the call to help
maintain the grounds of our Spiritual Home. Your efforts are obvious in the improved appearance of the
property and are much appreciated. And thanks in advance for your continued efforts. New memberships are
being accepted! No instruction is needed, just come to the church anytime, find some weeds and pull them out
or chop them with a hoe. Throw the weeds in the woods. Meditate while you weed. What a payoff for
15 minutes a month! For those who are unable to weed but who wish to become an important part of the “club”,
please support the efforts of church volunteers with your prayers. For more information, contact - Jan Murasko
or Kevin Helsby.
