Welcome from the Community at Aldersgate

Children's Church--every Sunday at 11:00

A fun, safe, faith-based alternative to staying in “Big Church” during Sunday Worship

For Kids, Pre-school through 1st grade.

Children of all ages are ALWAYS welcome in the Sanctuary during Worship. In fact, their attendance is encouraged! Children’s Church, however, is an alternative experience for families who would prefer their youngsters attend just the beginning of Sunday Worship and then enjoy a faith-based program with other children their age. Children’s Church is not intended to replace regular Sunday School; it is a less intensive educational experience.

Here’s how it works: Following the Opening Prayer, a Worship Leader will invite children who wish to attend Children’s Church that morning to accompany a designated Teacher to the Children’s Church Classroom, upstairs in the Education Wing.  Parents are welcome to accompany their child if they wish.

During Children’s Church, kids will hear a Bible story, do a related activity, have snack, and enjoy supervised outdoor time in the Church Playground.  Parents will pick up their children on the playground at the close of the Worship Hour or in the Children’s Church Classroom in bad weather.
