Aldersgate United Methodist Church has an active Scouting component led by Marty Jorgenson, Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts and Scouting Coordinator and Tom Franko, Cub Master for Cub Scouts.

Troops from the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America meet regularly at the church's facilities, many nights a week. The free use of space to these organizations is just one way that Aldersgate UMC gives back to the community and invests in the future of its youth.
