Youth

Our Youth Ministry offerings are for youth and younger youth in grades 4 – 12. We offer education classes, a confirmation class and two Youth Fellowship Programs.

Our focus this year will be based on the Mission Statement the Youth Council created:

We are a fun group of spiritually focused youth who celebrate Christ’s presence among us by engaging in community and group activities, church participation and mission projects.

Each of our 2 youth groups will focus on a mission opportunity for the year and will be involved in various programs of our church. Each group will also chose what projects they would like to be involved with this year.

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Senior Youth Fellowship will meet weekly on Sundays, we typically gather from noon – 2 p.m. each Sunday. All youth in grades 7 – 12 are welcome to join us at any time; you do not have to be a member of the youth group. We will be focusing on how we can grow stronger in our friendship with one another and God. We have two trips planned for 2010. We will be going skiing for a weekend in February, and our summer trip will include recreation opportunities and a mission focus. Please watch for more information in the coming months. Junior Youth Fellowship is for young youth in 4^th, 5^th & 6^th grade. During fellowship time these youth will have the opportunity to get to know one another and explore what it means to be a Christian. We will meet twice a month on Friday nights.
