What Have We Learned?
Celebration Sunday - November 15, 2009
Our journey together through this 40 Days of Community has been marvelous. We have seen people grow and stretch their faith in a variety of ways: some have joined us for the first time; some have begun to use the “spiritual tools” to grow deeper; many have plugged into fellowship by joining a small group; together small groups plugged into missions by serving in our community; and many have plugged into service by joining a ministry. What a joy it has been to deepen the community within our church and reach out beyond our church! November 15th we’ll come together to look back and celebrate God’s work in and through us during this campaign. We will also look forward to what God has in store for us next! Stay tuned!

MARY CIRCLE ANNOUNCES A NEW CHURCH WIDE PROJECT
New, handmade, CHRISMON ornaments are being planned to adorn the 2009 Albright Church Christmas Tree.
WHAT'S A CHRISMON?
Chrismons are a type of Christmas Tree decoration used in many churches and often in the homes of Christians. The symbols used represent a variety of biblical and theological concepts that are well known among most believers. Often, if the ornaments on a Christmas tree are comprised mostly of Christian symbols, the tree is known as a "Chrismon tree.” Chrismons are white with decorations of beads, ribbon, glitter, etc.
Mary Circle is asking for donations of materials to begin this projects.

Young Adults forming New Small Group
Our young adults are putting together a new small group. Their target is college age young adults. They will be mainly inviting you over the phone, so look for your call. They will be meeting off site and will let you know the place and starting date. They will be studying the new literature “They Like Jesus but Not the Church” Responding to Culture’s Objections to Christianity”. This explores six of the most common objectives and misunderstandings emerging generations have about the church and how the church can respond in positive ways. For more information contact:
