Agape (a-ga-pi):  “unconditional love”

AGAPE is a care centre for 25 children, It was created by a Zulu lady named Zodwa Mqadi who took it upon herself to look after many of the orphaned children in her local community. The children of AGAPE are fortunate to share in the unconditional love of Zodwa and her volunteers.

Zodwa’s Nightmare

Just before this CD was completed in January 2005, a fire broke out at the AGAPE orphanage. Fortunately nobody was hurt but the main building was destroyed and deemed uninhabitable by the fire department. The children are now homeless and the need for helping them is even greater then before. A plan has been drawn up to rebuild and expand the center before the fire as conditions were already cramped. The new plans for AGAPE contain eight mini homes each catering to eight children and a house mother. It would house 64 children from the local community.

By buying this CD ($20) you have contributed towards making Zodwa’s dream a reality. ALL proceeds will be donated to help children of the AGAPE orphanage.
