Pastor: Rev. Brent L. Webster

Rev. Webster has served churches within the Detroit Annual Conference since 1976. He served the Richfield Center U.M.C. as part time pastor and the Davison U.M.C. as part time associate pastor and as a member of the Davison Group Ministry from June 1976 until November 1978. In November of 1978, the week of Thanksgiving, he was transfered to the Harbor Beach U.M.C. and the Port Hope U.M.C. He was transfered in 1983 to the Washington U.M.C. and the Davis U.M.C. where he served until September of 1997. In September of 1997 he came to the West Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
Rev. Webster currently serves as the Conference Statistician for the Detroit Annual Conference.
Rev. Webster grew up in Franklin, Michigan attending the Franklin Community Church. He graduated from Wylie E. Groves High School in 1968 and attended Central Michigan University. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Central, with a major in accounting in 1972. In the fall of 1973 he began his seminary education at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio where he received a Master of Divinity in 1976.
Rev. Webster was ordained a deacon in the United Methodist Church in 1974 and an elder in 1977.
Brent is married to Mary E. Ford Webster, and they have two sons. Matthew builds circuit boards for a manufactoring company in Michigan, while Joshua is veterinarian doing a residency in pathology at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University. Mary is a French teacher at Romeo High School.
