Home Visits
Pastor Duane and Deb would like to visit in homes with about 10 people gathering from July through October. If you would like to host one of these gatherings, the sign up sheet is in the Narthex or see Michelle Fender.
Vacation Bible School
August 6th - 10th from 6:15 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. for children 4 years through 5th grade. Trading Places, Where Jesus Makes a World of Difference. If you are willing to help with this important ministry, please contact the church office at 724-6305. Items needed for snacks are fish-shape crackers, bagels, cheese nips, stick pretzels, corn or rice cereal, raisins M&M's, Little Debbie's Zebra snack cakes, chow mien noodles, butterscotch chips, sesame sticks, bear shaped graham crackers, flavored mini rice cakes, carmel coated popcorn, juice boxes, and bottled drinks. Craft needs are sweetened condensed milk, food coloring, white card stock, cotton swabs, glitter and old newspapers.
Benefit August 27th
Michelle McAfee has been dealing with breast cancer and the effects of treatments for over a year.
It has spread to become bone and liver cancer.
She has not been able to work and her insurance is about to run out.
Michelle and her husband Charlie have three boys, 8 years, 4 years, and 18 months of age.
There will be a benefit ride August 27
th
at 10:00 a.m. starting at Holman Motors in Eastgate to help the family.
Let’s pray this will be a huge success financially, and that God will bless them in spiritual ways they could never imagine.
Praying for healing for Michelle.
He can still perform miracles if it is His will.
Product Survey
The Conert and Ministry Outreach will be holding a product/taste survey to raise money for their funds on Tuesday, August 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the narthex.
Sign-ups are at 30 minute intervals and we ask that you be available for a total of as little as 5 minutes to as long as 45 minutes.
We get credit and payment for EVERY PERSON, 18 and over, who attends and answers some questions.
This is an easy way to help because there is nothing to buy.
We just ask for a donation of some of your time.

A baby shower for Bonnie’s is planned for Saturday, August 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will be held at Missi Brown’s home at 3344 Musgrove Rd. Williamsburg.
Bonnie is registered at Target, Babies R Us, and Kids Pottery Barn.
