Supporting the Mission
We have been asked by individuals and support churches, "What do you need?" and "How can we help with this mission?"
Our best answer at this time is to help maintain the ministry through prayers and other gifts. Occasionally, we will have special projects or needs, which churches or individuals can help out with. We will certainly let you know when these happen
If you are a United Methodist Church, you can give through the Advance Special. We currently have two areas that you can support:
Outreach - Advance # 931855 - As we work to reach out to the community through our Dreams and Visions. It is specifically design to allow ministry to reach the fishing industry and the community in general.
Pastor support - Advance #931012 - This fund helps keep a full-time clergy person serving the congregation and community. This helps to defray the costs of salary, pension, health, and some housing expenses.
Web Page - We are exploring the possibility of getting our own website. We appreciate the space the GBGM allows us to use, but believe a more name-specific website would be easier to direct people to. We are looking for a sponsor to help us with this, and believe this can happen for roughly $10-$20 per month.
Other churches or individuals can also support through direct giving by using the mailing address below. Please indicate a specific area of our ministry you would like to support, or we can simply designate the gift for an area that is in need when it arrives.
