WHEN YOU VISIT OUR CHURCH FOR THE FIRST TIME                      

(SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW)

 

We are located at the corners of Church and Warren Streets in Tunkhannock, one block west of Bridge Street and one block north of Tioga Street.  Our Saturday service is at 6:00 PM - our Sunday services at 8:30 and 11:00AM.

We have two buildings on opposite corners from each other - the main church building housing our sanctuary, fellowship hall and classes for children three years old through second grade - the Education Building housing our offices and classes for children third through youth.

Limited parking is located behind the church.  There is street parking and also the County parking lot on Warren Street.  The entrance to the sanctuary for physically challenged people is found on Warren St. and there are handicap accessible restrooms on the sanctuary level.

When attending a worship service, bulletins are located at any entrance (from Warren St, from Church St, from the parking lot). We also have large print hymnals and bulletins. (Individual hearing aids are available at the table by parking lot entrance).    For children, there is a children's bulletin that goes with the sermon and Pockets magazine for older elementary.  At the Saturday service, pick up a bulletin and whatever you need as you enter the sanctuary.  At either Sunday service, an usher will greet you at the parking lot entrance; greeters are stationed at the Church St. entrance.

Nursery is provided at both of our Sunday services downstairs in the church.

We receive communion about once a month and everyone is welcome to receive.

Saturday worship is scheduled for 45 minutes; Sunday worship for an hour.
