| History: |
In 1967, Black
Community Developers, Inc. (BCD) was started as part of the United
Methodist
Church (UMC) Christian Outreach Ministries of the Board of Global
Ministries. BCD established socially responsible programs including
youth-oriented and childcare programs, and became the basis for
the Little Rock organization that took form at Theressa Hoover United
Methodist in 1981. |
