Trinity United Methodist Church welcomes you to our website. We are eager to welcome you to our church as well.

We live in a "strange" new world. On one hand we have some of the most amazing technological advances ever known, on the other hand people are searching for meaning.

John Wesley believed that to be truly Christian, we must balance personal spiritual life and social spiritual life. Our personal spiritual lives are filled with things such as Bible study, prayer, worship, and sacraments. Our social spiritual lives draw us out into the world in service. Join us in living our faith and serving God.

We are located in inner Southeast Portland at the intersection of SE Cesar Chavez Blvd. (39th) and Steele. We have services every Sunday morning at 10:30. Children are welcome in our services and a children's activity time is provided during worship. You will find information about other services and activities below.

Sept. 8 - Start up of choir. Everyone welcome. Practices are 7 - 8:30pm each Wednesday, located in the room behind the Sanctuary. First performance will be Sunday, Sept. 12.

     Sept. 11 - Family Game Day. Come join us to play board games, card games and dominoes. Use ours or bring your own. 1pm in the Memorial Room.  Snacks served.

     Sept. 19 & 26 - Guest speakers. Lowell Greathouse, Assistant to the Bishop, will be our guest speaker during the service on the 19th and Anne Kayser will be with us on the 26th.  Come hear these dynamic people. Potluck following service.
