LOCATION OF PARK AVE. UMC

Chambersburg, PA is located 30 minutes north of the MD state line, one hour south of Harrisburg, 30 minutes west of Gettysburg, in South-Central PA.
Park Ave United Methodist Church is located in the scenic north end of Chambersburg, at the corner of Park and Edgar Ave. (PA Route 11N at Park Ave., across from Wilson College).
Take exit 17 from Interstate 81 (Walker Rd.); go west from the offramp, and bear right at the first stoplight. Go about 1 mile, under the railroad overpass, to the stoplight at Scotland Ave. Turn left onto Scotland Ave. and turn right in 2 blocks onto Park Ave. We are at the end of the 2-block-long road.
Coming from MD on Route 11 headed north, go through the center of Chambersburg and north about 1.5 miles, and look for our "Wayside Pulpit" signboard, with the Methodist cross-and-flame symbol, on your right. Coming south on Route 11, you'll find us about 1 mile south of McDonalds after you begin the zig-zag around Wilson College tennis courts. You may hear our lovely carillon, donated by Maxine and Richard Shull, which chimes out hymn tunes to the north end of town daily at 5 and 6 p.m. and Sundays at 9:15 a.m.
