History of OUMC

Missions supported by the congregation and United Methodist Women include:
The Food Pantry - food and other support to those in need when they have not been able to find other resources
Angel Tree Program - Christmas gifts for children of incarcerated parents through Prison Fellowship.
Lights of Love - Doves bearing the names of memorialized or honored loved ones decorate the Christmas tree; money collected supports Heart Havens, a UM ministry that provides for the residential needs of persons with disabilities.
Kairos Prison Ministries - Home baked cookies are provided to those incarcerated when we share the message of God's love with them.
Melissa Wiedemann - Missionary to Africa through The Rafiki Foundation.

In addition, the congregation supports many world wide ministries  sponsored by the United Methodist Church.
